Position: Bodyshop Stripper Fitter

Location: Eastleigh, Southampton

Salary: OTE £40,000 with achieved bonus and overtime!

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm plus overtime

***Applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence ***

We have a new opportunity to join our Eastleigh Preparation Centre as a Bodyshop Technician (Stripper/Fitter)!

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role
Knowledge in a Bodyshop environment
Motivated and be able to work under pressure
Be organised
Have a Full UK Driving Licence

What you will be doing:

Remove panels carefully and efficiently to avoid additional damage.
Use the appropriate tools in a safe manor.
Where small chips or dents need filing use the appropriate filling material.
Rub down the filler to a smooth finish.
Use primer to cover the chip or filled dent.
Rub down the primer to a smooth finish.
Prepare the vehicle with masking paper to protect area not required for painting.
After painting use fine paper to remove blemishes and dirt in the paint.
De-mask any masking paper.
Using the electric mop, polish the vehicle to a showroom shine.
Reassemble vehicle to achieve acceptable gap, flushness and alignment requirements.
Check function of sensors and lights or any other electrical items that may have been affected by this work.
