Workshop Controller/Master Technician

Salary: OTE £45,000 plus overtime!

Opportunity to earn up to £125 a week in bonuses plus uncapped overtime!

Hours: 5 days on 5 days off, 5 days on 5 days off, 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern. Meaning you only work 15 days per month!

Hours of work are 6am to 6pm covering an average of 40.25 hours per week.

We are looking for a Workshop Team Leader to manage and develop an efficient workshop department at our Preparation Centre in Eastleigh!

Areas of Responsibility:-

• Work scheduling
• Auditing & Training team
• Maximise teams output and ensure correct cars are being worked through the Workshop for the overall success of the prep centre
• Liaising with parts to reduce spend on cars when a second hand or green part may be able to be ordered
• Technician efficiencies and sold hours reporting
• Oversee processes within areas of responsibility to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs are met.
• Oversee direct reports, ensuring daily responsibilities are met.
• Ensure a safe and tidy workspace for the team.
• Conduct appraisals, briefings, and training, recording details per company procedures.
• Prioritise health and safety for the team and other colleagues.
• Undertake a full range of workshop duties.
