About the Audi TT

The Audi TT, a compact and sporty two-door coupe or convertible, embodies the spirit of exhilarating performance and captivating design. With its sleek exterior, powerful engine, and driver-focused interior, the TT delivers an engaging driving experience that combines style, agility, and technological innovation.

One of the standout features of the Audi TT is its striking and stylish design. The TT showcases a sleek and aerodynamic profile, characterized by clean lines, a low-slung stance, and a distinctive silhouette that exudes sportiness. Its sculpted bodywork and fluid curves not only enhance its visual appeal but also contribute to its aerodynamic efficiency. Whether in coupe or convertible form, the TT's design is sure to turn heads and leave a lasting impression.

Under the hood, the Audi TT packs a powerful and efficient engine, meticulously engineered to deliver an exhilarating performance. The exact specifications may vary depending on the model year, but the TT typically features a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that combines responsive power delivery with impressive fuel efficiency. This potent engine ensures that the TT possesses the acceleration and agility necessary for an engaging driving experience, allowing drivers to unleash its spirited performance on both city streets and open highways.

Complementing the engine is a quick-shifting transmission that seamlessly translates the engine's power to the wheels. The TT is often equipped with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, renowned for its lightning-fast gear changes and precise shifting. This advanced transmission enhances the TT's performance capabilities and provides a seamless and exhilarating driving experience.

Why the Audi TT remains a modern classic

Sporty styling that never goes out of fashion

The Audi TT’s design has remained instantly recognisable since its launch, with sharp LED lights, bold curves and a clean, muscular stance. The coupe version offers sleek lines and fixed-roof refinement, while the TT Roadster brings open-air freedom with a compact fabric roof that folds in seconds.

Inside, you’ll find a driver-focused cockpit, supportive sports seats and minimalist styling finished in high-quality materials. It’s compact but surprisingly practical, with two rear seats and a 305-litre boot in coupe models.

Engines and performance

The Audi TT is not just about looks. It offers agile handling, strong performance and a composed ride. Engine options include:

  • 1.8 and 2.0 TFSI petrol – Punchy, efficient turbocharged engines with quick acceleration
  • Quattro all-wheel drive – Available on higher trims for added grip and control
  • S tronic automatic gearbox – Offers quick, smooth gear shifts with paddle shifters
  • TT S and TT RS – High-performance versions with up to 400PS and 0 to 62 mph in under 4 seconds

Whether you’re commuting, cruising or carving through corners, the TT delivers fun behind the wheel.

Interior technology and features

Despite its compact size, the Audi TT is packed with modern technology and clever features. Depending on the trim and model year, you may find:

  • Audi Virtual Cockpit with digital speedo, maps and infotainment
  • MMI Touch or MMI Navigation Plus
  • Bluetooth, USB and DAB radio
  • Heated seats and climate control
  • Bang & Olufsen sound system (on higher trims)
  • Front and rear parking sensors or reversing camera
  • Cruise control and drive select modes

All controls are driver-focused and beautifully integrated into the minimalist dash layout.

Trim levels and styling

The Audi TT is available in several trims and performance variants:

  • Sport – 17 inch alloys, Virtual Cockpit, rear sensors and drive select
  • S line – Adds 18 or 19 inch alloys, S line styling, LED headlights and lowered suspension
  • Black Edition – Privacy glass, black styling pack and upgraded interior trim
  • TT S – Performance model with 306PS, Quattro and sports suspension

FAQs

My car tax is free, do I need to do anything?

Even if the car is in a zero road tax band, you still need to register it as taxed each year. The process is the same, but you won’t be charged anything. So you’ll need to go online or to the Post Office and 'tax' it (it will show a £0 fee). It’s important to do that so the car is officially recorded as taxed.

How experienced and qualified are Carsa’s technicians?

Our technicians are highly qualified and experienced. They are trained professionals who specialise in inspecting and preparing used cars to a high standard. Every car undergoes a rigorous inspection by our technicians, who have lots of experience in the motor trade. In short, you can trust that knowledgeable, certified mechanics have checked over and serviced your car before sale.

Does Carsa offer GAP insurance?

No, we don’t offer GAP insurance. You would need to arrange GAP insurance separately if you want it.

Can I book a service through Carsa?

Yes. We we partner with HiQ to provide servicing, so you can absolutely book your car in with us for routine servicing. Just visit our Carsa Service website or call the service centre, and you can schedule a service appointment at a location that’s convenient for you. We’ll be happy to continue taking care of your car’s maintenance.

When will I receive the V5 logbook for my Carsa car?

The V5C logbook is sent to you by the DVLA after purchase. It usually takes a few weeks; typically you can expect it within up to 6-12 weeks by mail.

How and when will I receive my car’s service history?

We’ll provide the service history documents to you when you get the car. If it’s digital, we’ll give you a printout or email, and if the car has a service booklet, that will be in the car’s documents pack. Essentially, at the point of handover (collection or delivery), we’ll hand you any service records or tell you how to access them. So you’ll have the history in hand right away.

When will my next service be due?

It depends on the car’s recommended schedule. Typically, cars should be serviced once a year or roughly every 10,000-12,000 miles (whichever comes first). If we’ve just serviced the car before delivery, your next service would likely be due in about a year from that service date. We’ll let you know the last service date and any upcoming due dates when you purchase the car.

When will my next MOT be due?

If the car just had an MOT done as part of our prep, then your next MOT is due one year from that date. If it’s a nearly-new car under 3 years old that hasn’t needed an MOT yet, then its first MOT will be due when it turns 3 years old. We’ll let you know the MOT status and date when you buy the car, so you’ll know when to plan for the next one.
