Administration Fees

At Carsa, we work hard to keep car buying simple, transparent, and great value. Most of our vehicles are priced below current market value — typically around £700 under, based on independent third-party pricing.

Before you drive away, there's some important admin we take care of on your behalf. Here's what's involved and what it costs.

Standard Admin Fee — £99

Every car we sell goes through individual checks before handover. The £99 covers:

• DVLA transfer and registration — handled for you, so you don't have to deal with it yourself.
• A full HPI and provenance check on your specific car — including write-off history, theft checks, and outstanding finance using 3rd party data. So you know exactly what you're getting.

This fee applies to all retail purchases.

Reservation Fee — £59 (fully refundable)

Want to secure a car while you decide? A £59 reservation fee holds it just for you — no one else can view, test drive, or buy it while it's reserved. If you come and view the vehicle in person at one of our stores, the fee is fully refunded.

External Finance Admin Fee — £495

If you choose to arrange finance through your own lender outside Carsa's approved panel, a £495 admin fee applies. This is because external finance agreements involve additional checks, manual processing, and usually a longer completion time, which creates extra cost on our end.

This fee isn't linked to commission or profit, it simply reflects the genuine additional work involved, so other customers aren't covering that cost. The £495 includes the standard £99 admin work (DVLA transfer and HPI checks) described above.

It's completely your choice which route you take , we just want you to have all the information upfront so you can decide what works best for you.

Trade Purchases — £595

For trade (B2B) customers, admin fees are higher because there's more involved — commercial documentation, compliance checks, and settlement processing.

Export Fee  — £995
